Prior to roasting, this coffee is fully washed, fermented and sundried at Café Cumbre Estate in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Profile: Light floral aroma, delicate body, and a smooth, crisp flavor.
Place: Café Cumbre Estate is comprised of 1,500 acres located on the western slopes of the Sierra Madre range adjacent to Puerto Vallarta Mexico. The farm sits at 4,000 feet above sea level with rich red clay soil and optimal microclimate. It is a majestic example of organic farming. An abundant shade canopy throughout the farm provides the perfect habitat for birds and insects.
People: In the early 1940’s the Flores family introduced coffee into their farm operation, located in Compostela, Nayarit.
Process: The botanical cultivar variety grown on the estate is Arabica Burbon. This cultivar is known for producing a delicate, yet refined flavor. BREWING TIP: Use cold, filtered water and a clean machine.
GRIND only as much as you need for one cup or one pot of coffee.
CHOOSE the correct grind. Fine for espresso, medium for automatic drip, coarse for French Press.
MEASURE ground coffee to taste. Start with two level tablespoons of ground coffee per six ounces of cold filtered or bottled water.
STORE in an airtight container to protect the flavor and aroma and ensure rich, fresh tasting coffee. Do not freeze or refrigerate.
