A giant of worldwide coffee production, Brazil produces not only the most coffee, it also grows some of the best. Our Brazil Cerrado light roast single origin coffee is grown in the hot, flat savannahs of Minas Gerais. Labeled “Specialty Grade,” Brazil Cerrado is dry processed for a cup of coffee that displays terrific body, and a nutty, sweet taste that can only be found in the best Brazilian coffees. This product comes in 1lb bags of whole beans.
Product Description
Profile: Soft bodied with earthy flavor and subtle walnut notes.
Place: Cerrado region, Brazil.
People: Brazil is the largest producer of coffee in the world. The Cerrado region is well known for its uniquely processed coffee.
Process: Natural dry-processed coffee uses a unique method which requires the trees to be nourished by water beyond the ripeness of the cherries. This process requires twice as much time because the fruit has to ripen, darken and dry on the branch. This is by far one of the most unique and elaborate ways to process coffee, offering a nicely fruity and bright aftertaste.
Pairing: Fresh bananas, dates, banana nut muffin, carrot cake.
Instructions
8 oz: Makes approximately 25 cups of coffee
12 oz: Makes approximately 35-40 cups of coffee
16 oz: Makes approximately 50 cups of coffee
20 oz: Makes approximately 60-65 cups of coffee
32 oz: Makes approximately 90-100 cups of coffee
BREWING TIP: Use cold, filtered water and a clean machine.
GRIND only as much as you need for one cup or one pot of coffee.
CHOOSE the correct grind. Fine for espresso, medium for automatic drip, coarse for French Press.
MEASURE ground coffee to taste. Start with two level tablespoons of ground coffee per six ounces of cold filtered or bottled water.
STORE in an airtight container to protect the flavor and aroma and ensure rich, fresh tasting coffee. Do not freeze or refrigerate.
