(Equipment and drinkware too.) Our physical gift cards and eGift cards can be redeemed at our store locations, the Coffee Bean Rewards mobile app, and our online store.

Coffee Bean Gift Cards are preloaded with funds that can be redeemed within our stores, through our Rewards app, and at store.coffeebean.com. We sell both physical cards and digital cards. 
An eGift card is an electronic card. eGift cards are very convenient. These are sent digitally via email and make great instant gifts.

ONLINE STORE RELATED QUESTIONS

You can either log into your account at store.coffeebean.com and go to My Account and select “Manage Cards” and follow the prompts to “Load a Gift Card” or follow the prompts at checkout for using Gift Cards for the payment option. From there you will be prompted to provide the gift card number and the pin number on the card. You will then designate how much you wish to transfer to the online store. Once the funds are transferred, follow the prompts to complete checkout. Your Gift Card balance (if any) will then be updated. You may use multiple gift cards. If you wish to transfer funds back to your card, you will need to contact Guest Relations here.
Not to worry, the card is stored in your store.coffeebean.com digital wallet. If you need to use the remaining balance in-store or in the app, please contact Guest Relations here.
Yes, however please note: If you want to leave money on your app, do not add the full balance to coffeebean.com. Additionally - Please refresh your app balance to ensure the correct balance displays.
No, sorry, store.coffeebean.com orders are not synchronized with the app. Our app is designed for in-store Guests, but customers of the online store can receive a loyalty discount by signing up for a recurring subscription order. Please visit our FAQs here to learn more about which purchases are eligible to accrue points in The Coffee Bean Rewards® app. 
At the current time, purchases of gift cards are not eligible to accrue points. However, if you are a member of our store loyalty program you can earn points by adding the gift card to your app and spending the gift card on beverages, food items, or retail items.

You can almost always add any The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf branded gift card to your account. However, older gift cards that begin with 6392 (or 6035) are not compatible with store.coffeebean.com. Please reach out to our Guest Relations team here for assistance.

It depends. Physical gift cards can be reloaded in-store. (As long as the entire balance was not transferred to the online store.) If you transferred a card from your app to the online store - Yes, you can still reload the card inside the app (As long as the entire balance was not transferred to the online store.) If you are trying to add more money to your online store dashboard - No, sorry. You must upload a new card number with each purchase.
Unfortunately not. Please forward the eGift card email you received to the recipient. To purchase new gift cards you can go here or visit a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store location. Accepted payment methods for gift cards include credit/debit card, PayPal, and Apple Pay.
Yes. You can also pay partially with Amazon Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal (Unless you are starting a subscription.) If you are starting a subscription, credit/debit card is the only accepted payment method.
At this time, only credit/debit card can be used to start subscription orders. 
The refund will post to your online store digital wallet.

On the delivery date you choose, an email is sent to the recipient informing them of your gift, with a link to retrieve it online. The link in the email goes to a page showing the eGift Card you created (the design you selected, with your recipient's name and your personalized message), its value and card number. This page also gives simple instructions for redeeming the eGift Card. eGifts are redeemed at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores by presenting the printed page with the QR code, via a mobile device by pulling up the eGift email with the QR code or loading it to the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Rewards app to be scanned. eGifts can also be redeemed here at store.coffeebean.com by entering in the card number and the PIN# during checkout. NOTE: Once you transfer your eGift card balance to store.coffeebean.com, your eGift card will be deactivated and value cannot be added back to it.
The minimum purchase amount on our consumer site (hereis $5.00, and the maximum amount is $250.00. If you are ordering on behalf of a business, charity, or another organization, we can accommodate bulk orders here.
You can use your The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf gift card at any of our cafe locations in the U.S. You can also upload the card to store.coffeebean.com here or add the card to The Coffee Bean Rewards® app. The Coffee Bean Rewards® app is available at participating locations only. To transfer the value of your Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Card or eGift card to The Coffee Bean Rewards® app, open the app, go to “More”, tap "Manage Cards", then tap "+ Add Card” in the top right hand corner. Next, select “Add Existing Gift Card” and enter the gift card number and PIN.  For more information on how to manage your gift cards in The Coffee Bean Rewards® visit us hereNOTE: Once you transfer your Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Card entire balance, your Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Card or eGift card will be deactivated and value cannot be added back to it.

No, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s physical gift cards are fully re-loadable with any value up to a total of $200. NOTE: If you transfer your Gift Card balance to our rewards app or our online store, your Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Card will be deactivated and value cannot be added back to it.
For single card purchases, gift cards will be sent via standard USPS mail. The benefit here is that the recipient gets a physical gift in the mail. For bulk purchases of multiple gift cards, we may use a parcel carrier such as UPS or FedEx.
